Caffè Negroni was founded in August 2022 in San Rafael de Escazú with a clear vision: to offer a unique gastronomic experience that combines the best of Mediterranean cuisine with exceptional signature cocktails.
Founded by Danny Solano and Leandro Aldaburu, the restaurant is the result of a shared vision, inspired by family memories and a passion for good living.
Our menu is strongly influenced by the flavors of the Mediterranean and Leandro's memories of family dinners with his grandfather, Rómulo Andreucci, in his native Argentina. This warm, homey essence is reflected in every corner of the restaurant and in every dish we serve.
Located on the banks of a river and surrounded by nature, our space evokes the charm of a European bistro with an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for enjoying everything from a leisurely breakfast to a special dinner.
The menu celebrates fresh ingredients and authentic preparations: artisanal pizzas, risottos, lasagnas, braised meats, and much more. Added to this is our specialty cocktails, where the Negroni—in its classic, Rosé, and Bianconi versions—takes center stage, alongside classic cocktails and our own creations full of character and elegance.
Caffè Negroni has also been a pioneer in introducing collaborative gastronomy in Costa Rica, opening our doors to guest chefs and mixologists who, together with our team, create unique experiences.
